Spring or Summer

Hi all,

The weather is trying to figure out what season it is really supposed to be. Two days ago we still had our door open and it was 72 degrees at 8:00 pm and today and yesterday it hasn't gotten above 52 degrees. I talked to my Aunt Eveyln in Rogue River on our warmest day and she said it had gotten to 93 and I guess it was that warm in Sacramento too! It is supposed to start warming up tomorrow again, but not get quite so hot.

I still have daffodils coming up and have some that have been up for about a week, the tulip's are coming up too, so there is beginning to be a nice show of spring color. There are even a few irises that are starting to bud. We still have Camellia's in bloom. I really love when everything starts blooming, but the allergies have been the pits. I have never had allergies to speak of except burning eyes, this year all H... has broke loose. It has been at least a month since I have had a good nights sleep as allergies have kept me awake, and especially bad on the days that I work in the garden. I think it is because the weather has been so weird.

We planted a new lawn 7 days ago and are still waiting for it to start sprouting. If the warm days had stayed maybe it would have shown something today, but since it got cold again who knows...

We are headed to Redding this weekend with our neighbor Tim. We are dropping him off at his friends in Red Bluff and then going on up to Fred's sister's and spend the night, pick up Tim's girlfriend in Redding Saturday morning and go back to Red Bluff for a parade and rodeo. We are really looking forward to it. The weather is supposed to be beautiful and there will be lots of fun to be had. We haven't been to a Rodeo since Athea was about 4 or 5 yrs old. That was was exciting as there was a streaker (Hat, neckerchief and boots), it was during that crazy time when they were everywhere.

Well, I said I would post some pictures this time, so I am going to try it.

This is when we were back in Missouri two years ago in June for our grandson Antone's surprise 16th birthday. This is Dee Dee, Freddie (feeling no pain), Antone (slouching) Fred and little (or not so little) me. I fit under Antone's arm pit.

Freddie just sent us this picture. It is the "Official" Foot Ball Signing at Missouri Valley College (they made up their minds just this weekend 4-12-08). We are going back in May for Antone's High School Graduation

I had to go in and move each of the pictures down as they automatically insert at the top??

A Beautiful Day

Hi to all of our family and friends,

Well I decided that maybe this would be the best way to keep anyone who is interested tuned in instead of sending updated emails from time to time. This way you can check it out whenever you want to, if you want to.

As most of you know, Fred does not type and only plays solitare on his computer or once in a while surfs the web (not to often as he got himself in trouble and ended up with several horrible trojan's) It is a good thing we both have our own computers and they are not linked.

This is Saturday and it is beautiful and sunny here on the mountain. So why am I in on the computer you ask. Because I had this bright idea and I wanted to get to it before I forgot about it. I do plan on going out in a bit to work in the garden since it didn't rain like I hoped it would and I want to work in the dirt before it gets to dry and I have to water it to work in it.

I am also working on all of my business websites. I know none of you out there are interested, and I have not started making any money yet, but give it time???? Anyway, just to see what I am up to, here are my sites. www.costaproject.com , www.electronicmajic.blogspot.com , www.yoursconcestore.com and www.instant-millionaire.org/1/14126820-invitation-page.aspx .

I know what you are thinking, but if you don't try, how can you succeed. Don't worry, I am not squandering a lot of money, just trying to make a living at home. Since I am now home, I intend to stay home and if that means trying different ways through the internet, then I have to try to try out different things until it works. So far they have some intensive training that go along with them and I am learning a lot. Of course the blogs are a different story.

I will put pictures on this one to keep you up with the family and all.

Darian will be 11 on May 8th and Athea, heaven forbid will be 33 (man does that make me feel old) on May 12th. We will be flying to MO on May 10th and will be celebrating their birthday's in a joint party on the 9th. We will be in MO from the 10th to the 25th.

We are going to visit our son Freddie in MO for several monumental occasions. It will be the first Mother's Day I will have spent with him for 22 years or so, our grandson Antone will be graduating High School May 17th (seems like just yesterday he was born), and while we are there we will celebrate the June stuff too. Freddie's birthday (44, ouch) is on June 10th, Antone's birthday (another ouch, 18) is June 17th and of course we will also celebrate Father's Day. We are looking forward to all of it.

Well, I'll sign off for now. Love you all. Cheryl (alias's: Sherrie, Cindy, Mom, Honey, Love, etc. etc.)
